The ALIS-XR Summer Symposium 2023 was hosted at Sonoma State University on July 27-28, 2023. This symposium onboarded Cohort C, the last cohort of STEM faculty members for the ALIS-XR project.

Day 1 workshop is a huge success with great presentations, idea-sparkling discussions, and engaging hands-on activities! Huge shout out and special thanks to SSU President Ming-Tung Lee for stopping by at the poster session and trying out XR!

Day 2 workshop started with super fun “make your own ALIS-XR t-shirt!” The maker-space at Sonoma State Library was lovely!!! Our esteemed guest, Joy Horvath from Unity delivered an amazing crash course on “Creating your first Mobile AR app with Unity!”

ALIS-XR SJSU Summer Symposium 2022

The ALIS-XR SJSU Summer Symposium convened the new cohort members, the project team, and invited guest speakers at SJSU campus to kick off an exciting year of XR exploration. This in-person gathering was strongly recommended by Cohort A faculty and was regarded by both project team and Cohort B members as a great bonding event.
